About Us
Serving the needs of the community since 1971, St.
Teresa’s Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a 98-bed skilled
nursing facility located in the Orange County community of Middletown,
New York. The Center’s intimate size creates the opportunity
for highly personalized and comprehensive long-term eldercare, and
its dedicated staff of skilled professionals provides it with a
strong reputation for short-term rehabilitation. Private and semi-private
rooms are available, and a full program of varied recreational activities
is offered.
In Spring 2006, the Center will dedicate a new 16-bed
unit that will focus on intensive short-term rehabilitation and
enable residents to return more quickly to their homes. Other modernization
projects will soon enhance the physical surroundings of the residents,
but St. Teresa’s primary mission – to preserve every
resident’s dignity while celebrating their individuality –
will remain as firm as ever.
St. Teresa’s values its Catholic traditions
while serving people of all faiths. With a leadership board comprised
of caring community members, the Center welcomes the active involvement
of its residents’ families and friends, as well as volunteers
and supporters from the surrounding community.
